Posted: Fri Dec 28, 2007 10:45 pm Post subject: LONG OVERDUE THANKS!!!!

Just thought it was long overdue for me to post up how pleased I am with Bob and KRUGAN MOTORSPORTS. Bob has really helped out with getting my street car dialed in and making over 800 hp to the tires. I also appreciate the efforts put forth recently on getting me helped out with my new car.

Also the fact that Bob went out of his way when we had the car at the "King of the Streets" event in Bolwing Green in October. He was working overtime to make our trip successful despite the fact that he was running Drag Radial and qualified #1 if I remeber right. The entire weekend Bob was helpful and he even sat in the stands with my dad and I. I am sending everyone I can to Bob and have found on eof the best tuners in the country to take care of my stuff! Now if I could get him moved a little closer...

Can't say enough good, I mean GREAT things about my experience with Bob. From purchasing, to installation to tuning. He single handedly took my stock 06 GT, in but a few short days, transforming it into a 'rockin' street/strip ride. I thought the car was stout to begin with, I had no idea what could be had from it, and Bob made it all possible. Thanks Bob, your work is outstanding, your service bar none, the best!

I drove my Lightning down from the Twin Cities in Minnesota to meet Bob at Eurotech to help me figure out a running issue. I was very happy with the way Bob explained a couple of things about what was causing my problem and gave me a couple options in regard to the tuning.

Mine was a pretty straight forward tuning session, but Bob was nice enough to build me a tune rather than modify one of my existing tunes.

It was really a pleasure to meet Bob and Greg the owner of Eurotech.

These guys are great to deal with. No BS, no surprises, really decent and easy to talk to.

I can say that I would absolutely recommend Bob Kurgan to tune. His tune for my 2000 Lightning with a stock long block, fuel system, and KB showed about 449rwhp and still gave me over 17mpg on the highway traveling about 72mph back to MN.

Thanks again, Bob. I truly wish you success during this racing season.

Thanks to Bob for his excellent tune and support throughout. He helped me figure out my motor combo, plan out and get parts for my fuel system for cheap, and continues to help me via phone and forums.

I'm one of those guys stuck at a dealership that could be doing so much more, and Bob really makes me want to rethink my career and start tuning!

If you ever need any help Bob, let me know. Thanks again!

Big thanks to Bob and all his help! Asked him a bunch of questions over the past few weeks before getting my car tuned and he always got right back to me no problem. The Rockford facility was great, plenty of space and was able to read boost even though I did not have a gauge.

Bob treats each car like his own, I will definitely be coming back in the future when I upgrade. My cars a pig, haha!

Thanks again Bob!

Had Bob tune my 03 cobra with 2.93 upper and 4lb. lower over the weekend and I just wanted to say thanks again for the awesome tune. The car is making fantastic power and runs great. I can't say enough good about the whole experience. Bob and the crew at Eurotech went above and beyond what I expected. It is not every day that you get this level of service in this business. Thanks again!!!!

Impressed and glad I made the trip to have Bob tune the car. Nothing beats honesty and integrity. Despite the car not making the #'s I thought it would, Bob has it running at it's full potential now. Many thnx to you and the guys at Eurotech for mailing everything I left at their shop

I just wanted everyone to know whats been going on for the past 2-3 months. Around early december 2006 i started talking with bob about what i wanted to do with my 2003 mustang gt. He has always kept close contact and told me all the information on everything i was confused about. We decided to get a supercharger put on my car. On top of the s/c, i purchased many items from full exhaust to suspension to gear etc. Bob has been nothing but great help. Dealing with him is more like dealing with a friend then anything. Him and his good friend nick started working on this project mid january. Nick did all of the installations as bob was there several times helping and seeing how things where going. They got the car done in 1 week! Then bob will work with "YOU" to make you happy and find the best time for you to get a tune done. I drove and had the tune done a few days later and he explained everything and what he was going. Just on the base tune i had 357 rwhp. After his work for an hour i had 390 hp with a very conservative safe tune to keep the engine life longer. Bob and Nick are nothing but good friends with a very professional attitude and helpfulness that you do not find often.

I say this just like anyone would say working with them. I recommend them over anyone i've delt with. Top notch people!

Another happy customer added to the list. After having to cancel due to our snow storm on Tuesday of this week Bob slotted me for a 10am start just this past Saturday. ( thanks for understanding I didn't want my baby slopping around in that mess Bob ).

Nothing out of the ordinary with my car, 2007 mustang GT with a P1SC strapped on. Bob dialed her in though and I predict tire purchases on a near monthly basis now. Cars an animal and Bob gets all the credit.

Thanks again Bob-

Bob tuned my car this past week, and I could not be happier with the numbers the car made or the service. Not only did Bob locate another dyno when Speed Inc's wide band had gone out (thanks again Sound Performance) but he did so in about 5mins notice. If thats not service I dont know what is. The car was tuned with everything explained to a T. Thanks again Bob for making it happen, this year should be the best season yet!

Well after not having my car running since October when I installed the Kenne Bell and having all sorts of problems with it, I decided to bring it to Speed Inc Fri Dec the 5th and Bob came down the next morning and got the car tuned and running in about 3 hours. Wow it feels like a totaly diff car. The car runs perfect in ever single way. I put down the numbers I wanted to see and I cant be happier.

Thanks A Lot Bob

Went down to Houston for The Clash of The Titans race. Bob had recently tuned a SCT chip for my 94 Cobra. Drove over 500 miles round trip and averaged 19mpg cruising at 70 ( 60lb injectors).

Right off the street it ran a 11.08 and on the second pass ran a 10.90 @ 127.35 with a 1.63 60' on 275-40-17 MT DR's. Weight w/ driver was 3,690lbs. Finally got my 10 second slip!

Just want people to know what a GREAT guy Bob is as a person/tuner.

I had just recently built a 4.6 for my 02GT. I invested big $'s into what was to be a mean N/A street/bracket car.

Then I took it for a Dyno Tune at a south suburban shop.To say the least I was very upset with the results. The shop had hosed me pretty well with up charges but the worst part was the car was down on power. I took it to the dragstrip and it ran slower than when I had a stock motor with bolt on's.

I actually lost .3-.4 on my 60ft. times and was running .1-.2 slower in the 1/4mile. I then decided to take it back to the strip again to make sure it wasn't just a bad night but got the same results the next time out.

I was sick after all the time,$ and energy I had a slower car.

So,I wrote Bob an e-mail about what I had in the engine/poor tune.

He got me a quick appoint. the following week. It took Bob only an hour and a half to tune it to PERFECTION! The car performs and sounds great. It's very streetable yet hooks and Screams at the track.

My 1st time out was proof that Bob is a GREAT TUNER!

Just wanted to take a moment and say a huge

Thank You to Bob Kurgan. He has been so helpful thorugh out this whole ordeal. I have had a couple DIablo mail order tunes and had nothing but issues, pinging, SES lights ect ect. I wasn't sure how far I was going to take my car but am so happy with what I did and where it sits. As soon as Bob's tune with the XCAL 2 went in, the SES light, lean driver side bank and all other issues were gone, never came back. The SCT is hands down in my opinion the way to go. Bob tuned my car this week and I pulled 284.80rwhp and 301.15rwtq on an AUTOMATIC!! I have stock heads and motor but so far the car has gone consistently 108/109 trapspeeds so I should be good for 12's if I can get some decent tires on the back. The car runs so smoothly now, no more quirks, drives just as it did the day I bought it, aside the little rougher idle which I totally like. Bob, you are gifted at what you do, thanks again!!! I will be calling in a few to get the nitrous tuned, you game?

I have my car previously tuned by a local well known shop and I had some dissappointments in the tune. I contacted Bob via E-mail and after a few back and forth E-mails, I decided that even though I could not have Bob tune my car at his shop due to me being in Texas, he could get the job done with a little back and forth in the mail and verifying the a/f ratio with my wideband.

He sent me a chip with a couple of fuel curves and one of them was perfect. I just sent it back for him to give me a couple of timing curves and it runs perfect....better with the 60lb injectors than the 42's I had!

Well me and my 2004 Kenne Bell Cobra spent a few hours with Bob, The Dyno a couple of laptop's and his magic finger. But not only put the best tune on the car since I had it but he allowed close observation and provided me with explanations as to why he did what he did in the tune. In addition, he did not have to put the car under 100 pulls to get it right. Overall, a great experience for me and my car. Oh and by the way he has a decent sense of humor.

Bob thanks and we will Be Back.

The car runs like a raped ape on roids and no doze !!!!!

You've created another happy customer.

I purchased an SCT XCal2 and the Pro Racers package. SCT first sent me a bad XCal. Bob helped me work with SCT to get a new one in my hands before my next race.

Bob then went out of his way to take time out of his DR testing at Byron dragway to help me flash the first tune and see how it worked. Without the tune the car was running 103.5 MPH and instantly started running 109 MPH trap speeds. Can't ask for better results than that on the first try!

I purchased all my AEM stuff thru Kurgan Motorsports. Bob has given me great support with my AEM purchase and has even helped me tune! I ran my best of 10.16@141 with a safe tune on my street car and I hope to go even faster!

Its tuff to find places that even answer the phone let alone tech questions...Bob has ALWAYS either answered the phone or called me back quickly and has answered ALL my questions no matter how trival

I just want to thank bob for putting a bad ass tune on my notch last week. His knowledge of of SCT and will to take the time on the drivabilty aspect of the car was impressive, not to mention those power numbers that were better than I could of hoped for. Any new combo's or cars you got my business.

I was adding HCI along with switching to 42# injectors and an SCT maf and I needed a chipped burned so I didn't have to tow the car to the dyno. After trying to find someone to give me a base tune without seeing the car with no luck, a friend of mine told me I should contact Bob. Bob had no problem giving me a chip with a base tune on it. He told me what to set idle speed, timing, and fuel pressure at and the car fired on the first try! It drove pretty good too. When the weather finally cooperated, I had Bob tune it on the dyno. I was very pleased with the numbers, especially considering it was 95*, and he even fixed the minor drivability problems. Thanks again Bob!

long story here so bear with me guys. in march of 05 i had my car dynotuned by both a reputable and big speed shop here in the chicago area. said shop had me drop my car off for days (up to a week and a half) at a time, with no word as to when my car would be finished. the first time i picked my car up i noticed a ton of quirks right off the bat, but want to drive it for awhile to see if anything else would pop rather than just call a bunch of times something would come up.

these problems were 2 differnt lockup issues, a really hard idle, the car regularly stalling out, poor gas mileage, a surging idle, and a few other misc problems. the first time i called that shop, they said they would tweak the tune, and said to mail the flasher to them and they would try and correct it via mail. i sent the flasher through the mail at least 5 times. extrememly frusterated, i explaned to them that this wasnt working well. so in good faith that had me bring my car to them again (70 miles 1 way for me) and assured me everything would be taken care of. not the case, it came off the dyno still screwed up. livid, i didnt want to talk them anymore. i just wrote it off as money poorly spent.

thinking there is noone in the area that can tune my car i just drove it as is for a few months. then my buddy rick got word of kurgan, and had his car tuned by him. he told me he had it done in less than an hour, and he got to oversee everything and everything was explained to him, and his car made great power with great driveablity. after hearing this i set up an appointment with bob. he was extremely accomodating, i explained i had 5 days before i left town for 9 months, and i really wanted my car tuned. he rearranged his schedual some and told me he would meet me outside of rockford, a cruise for me but definately worth it. they got it strapped to the dyno, and he realized he didnt have a port to connect my 9100 to his software. he offered to sell me a chip at cost, but i couldnt really afford it. then he offered to trade me a chip for my flasher straight up, and i said deal. he then remembered he has a buddy who had a 9100, so he ended up burning my program onto a chip (to save time) and then transfered it to my flasher. if thats not customer service i dont know what is.

just like my buddy ricks car, he allowed me to watch everything, and even let me get involved with what was going on. he explained everything clearly, and professionally. he was able to put out the same numbers as the last tuner with a heatsoaked motor, and less timing into the tune. on top of it, on my trip from IL to WY i averaged 20mpg at 80 mph with 3.73s turning about 2800 rpms. and the icing on the cake...he called me while driving to make sure everything was cool and offered his assistance down the line if i ever needed anything. thanks again bob!

Well I made the switch to an AEM EMS for

my '93gt. Since the AEM was plug & play

for my car it was a no brainer as I did not

want to cut up my wiring harness.

Bob provided a startup tune for the 418 that

was very close. He was also easy to deal with

and gave me a very fair price on my AEM unit.

Thanks again Bob.

After months of waiting, bad weather and numerous emails. I was finally able to meet up with Bob for a dynotune on my 97 Cobra. Bob was able to achieve excellent results for me and get me to my goals. With his advice and willingness to listen the whole experience was very positive and very professional. Having previously attempted to work with a differant tuner. I was very turned off to the whole situation. But my experience today brought me back to what its all supposed to be about! Thank you very much Bob. I will be sure to share the experience with others.
